Dial-a-Ride Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly

The Dial-a-Ride service was set up to help and enable people with mobility problems who live in the Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly area to enjoy a greater independence.

We have three vehicles at the moment and all are wheelchair accessible. We have had around 700 customers use our service over the 15 year period, and we have over 150 on our books at this moment.

We are able to help people with disabilities do the ordinary things in life that other people take for granted, like shopping, visiting friends and relatives, doctor and hospital appointments. We even transport customers to holiday destinations throughout the UK.

None of this would be possible without our caring and dedicated team of VOLUNTARY drivers. Although our normal hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Mondays to Fridays, our drivers are sometimes available to carry out weekend and evening bookings for special occasions such as Weddings, Theatre Trips & Day Trips.
