Community Development

GAVO provides support and advice for community and voluntary groups as well as individuals who are interested in helping and supporting their community.  We offer support to small and large organisations, including established Charities who are seeking to expand or improve their practice.

We offer free confidential information, advice and support from a locally based Community Development Officer , who can support you along the way with advice, information, access to training and assistance with identifying sources of funding and help in applying for grants.

GAVO can help you to:
