Community Planning in Caerphilly

Community Planning
Local Vision
Statutory Guidance from the Welsh Assembly Government on
developing and delivering community strategies 2008

"The community strategy is the overarching strategy for each local authority area. It must provide a long-term strategic vision, based on a set of shared ambitions and values, discussed and negotiated with local citizens, communities and their leaders.
Local authorities have a community leadership role, but the strategy should belong to the community, and should be prepared and implemented by the local authority in conjunction with its public, private and third sector partners."

Welcome to the Caerphilly Community Planning page. My name is Alison Palmer and I am jointly funded by GAVO and Caerphilly CBC to support the community planning process in the county borough, working with statutory and voluntary organisations to deliver the Community Strategy. I also support the Local Service Board.
