Our Volunteering Centres based in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Newport aim to:
- Promote, support and develop the participation of volunteers as appropriate to local needs
- Promote, support and develop activities of all types which involve volunteers in their own local areas and to promote good practise in volunteering by providing advice and guidance on all issues relating to volunteering and local organisations. Information and advice on regional, national and international volunteering will also be available to those who seek this information
- Provide on-going support to all volunteers throughout the course of their voluntary work
- Provide current information on local volunteering opportunities
- Promote volunteering in a positive manner to all sections of the community.

We can arrange informal meetings to discuss local volunteering opportunities with the volunteer and will guide and support the volunteer to determine the most appropriate voluntary work to meet their needs. On-going support is given to enable the volunteer to fully benefit and enjoy their volunteering experience. Confidentiality is respected and maintained at all stages of the volunteer's involvement with the Centre. We are continually expanding our opportunities so if you are interested in an area and can't find an opportunity then please contact us to discuss.
