Representation and Partnership
GAVO represents the interests of the voluntary sector on various partnerships. For example Young People's Framework for Partnership, Health, Social Care and Well-Being, Local Strategic and Community Safety Partnerships. It also encourages and supports the involvement of representatives from other voluntary organisations on partnership boards, working groups and various forums.
GAVO also brings together voluntary organisations through local forums to debate issues and respond to consultations from other organisations such as the Welsh Assembly Government, local authority, local health boards etc.
